Niche Marketing – No Blog Required?
Everyone knows that niche marketing is the way to go these days. I’ve blogged about what niche marketing is before on this site.
Niches allow you to focus your efforts for maximum effect – you’re not wasting time trying to cover a huge area – rather, you’re spending your resources pinpointing a target market. The best way to build a niche following (of targeted potential customers) is by building a blog.
People love blogs. Blogs are great places to find an ongoing flow of information that is relevant to a certain topic or subject area. Some people think blogs are only for the internet marketing niche or personal blogs for people wanting to talk about their holidays. Not so – they work brilliantly with all niche markets.
All you have to do is choose your niche and start your blog.
Yes, I’m being a bit over simplistic by saying that – but really, blogs aren’t difficult to create and maintain and a blog is a great way to publish your content – the content that marks you as an expert in your field.
To build a niche following with a blog, you’ll want to first choose your niche keywords carefully. Once you’ve done that, you can create content – your blog posts, even podcasts and videos that you embed in your blog, that center on those keywords.
Keep your blog fresh and updated on a very regular basis, and make sure you’ve search engine optimized your blog. You’ll find that the search engines are more than happy to give it a good page rank. This leads to more traffic and more traffic leads to a growing following.
Create a blog to support your niche. You’ll brand yourself as an expert quickly and it is just one more way for people to find you. And with lots of good quality content presented in one place, they will keep coming back. It’s true it can take a lot of effort – but it will reap rewards for you!
eBook Writing – An Important Form of Internet Marketing
eBooks are gaining in popularity! They have become a viable marketing tool and people love the fact that they are convenient, less expensive and do exactly what a print book does.
And eBooks are great for helping you to build your own personal brand as an expert. It’s digital, but it’s still a real book – with you as the author! This is yet another reason why you should learn about eBook writing as a useful form of marketing.
There are two distinct ways to get into eBook writing. The first is to write your own eBooks and publish them online. You can sell them as affiliate info products from your own website or from an affiliate network such as ClickBank.
This serves two purposes – bringing in money and establishing yourself as an expert in your chosen niche. On the downside, you need time, creativity and energy to write your eBook – and if you have all these things then there is nothing from stopping you from starting right away! Write an eBook that provides useful information to the reader. Make sure it’s complete and that it looks good and reads well.
The other approach to eBook writing is to hire a talented ghostwriter to write your eBook for you. You can find cheap but good ghostwriters in the Warrior Forum, or at Elance. This is perfectly fine! You have an idea for an eBook, you have someone with the time, energy and creativity write it for you at an agreed upon price, and when you pay for the service, you get the copyrights to that book and your name goes on it as the author.
You sell it and establish yourself as an expert in exactly the same way as you would have had you written it yourself. Both ways are acceptable!
And don’t forget, you get to put all your affiliate links inside your eBook – and if you offer Master Resell Rights, then your eBook could go “viral”!
Attraction Marketing-3 Keys To Success
What if instead of basing your business on selling and convincing people that don’t want to be sold to, you could have your customers chasing you down, ready to purchase from you. Wouldn’t it be nice to have people contacting you first, instead of you hunting them down. You wouldn’t have to make anymore agonizing phone calls where you try to convince people to buy and get hung up on or worse. Think about how much more fun your business would be if you have clients chasing you down.
But just how do you get people to hunt you down? One of the keys to attraction marketing is positioning yourself as the expert and leader that can help your customers or prospects get what they want. When you do this you hold all the power and value in your customers eyes. This eliminates the barriers and walls you typically need to knock down with traditional sales prospecting.
The second key is to brand yourself and show clients you have knowledge and value. They will perceive you as someone that can help them be successful and get what they want. When that happens, you are golden. You no longer need to sell them, they are ready to buy. People love to buy but they hate being sold to.
There’s a big difference in what customers want today. They care about you and what you can do to help them. People are buying “you” because you are a leader and perceived expert, and because you’ve convenyed to them that you can help them get what they want.
The third key to attraction marketing is adding value to your customers and prospects. The more value you have, and the more value you convey in your marketing, the more people will want to work with you and be around you for your knowledge, experience, and power.
You can become valuable to your prospects by learning as much as you can and then sharing that knowledge with your prospects and customers. This is the key to attraction marketing, and being competitive in today’s modern market place.
In summary, there are 3 main keys to success in attraction marketing:
1 – Position yourself as an expert by providing knowledge and value to your clients and prospects
2 – Market your knowledge and value, not your product
3 – Become valuable by continually learning and adding new value
Use attraction marketing and watch your business take off, and have fun while you’re doing it.

Things NOT to Say to an Entrepreneur
This is going to be far from a complete or exhaustive list, but you should get the gist.
First of all, the question you need to ask yourself is exactly what kind of people you are trying to attract to your business. Newbies? Boomers? Spammers? Opportunity jumpers? Or is it perhaps ENTREPRENEURS?
Entrepreneurs come in all shapes, sizes, ages, colors, countries, budgets, skill sets, and commitment ranges. Yet, they have some things in common that you absolutely must consider if you are going to attract them. Here are some things NOT to say to them as a start, and the reasons why. After you have a relationship with someone, you can try some of these, but for a first communication, they are strikeouts.
1. I am the GREATEST!!!!! — No you aren’t. To an entrepreneur, greatness is earned by performance, not by declaration, and if you have to proclaim it, they aren’t going to believe it.
2. “Expert Online Marketer and Wealth Coach Making Money on the Internet EVERY DAY FOR OVER 10 YEARS!!!!!!”
First of all, EVERY DAY? Are you sure? There hasn’t been a SINGLE day in ten years that you didn’t make money on the Internet?
Secondly, did you become an “expert” when you joined Jim Carpenter’s EZ Wealth group, or were you an “expert” before, and are just now deciding to announce it?
3. YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS!!!! — No I don’t. One of the major reasons we have chosen to work for ourselves is because we don’t take orders very well, and that looks suspiciously like an order.
4. GET IN BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE!!!! — Not interested. If something is really going to be “too late” soon enough to warrant three or four exclamation points, it certainly isn’t going to produce long term income, now, is it?
5. SIMPLY WATCH THIS EXCITING 20 MINUTE VIDEO!!! — Sorry. Don’t have the time. If you want to give me a reason to take a look at your business, do it in a sentence or two. I don’t have 20 minutes to waste on something I might not be interested in, and neither do my contacts.
6. Go to www.worldsgreatestbiz.com/home/?id=joeblow – - Sorry again. If you could teach me something, you probably could send me somewhere besides an obvious affiliate link.
7. YOU’LL DIE IF YOU DON’T TAKE THIS PRODUCT!!!!– I’m going to die someday anyway, but how do you know I’m not already on some kind of health plan?
Just treat entrepreneurs with respect. Don’t insult their intelligence. If you really do have something to offer, they’ll see it.

Drive Free Traffic to your Website – Write an eBook
Now is the perfect time to write an ebook. If you’ve not written one yet, you’re probably thinking about it. And if you’re not, you should be.
Ebooks are a new and powerful tool for original thinkers with fresh ideas to disseminate information to the millions of people who are struggling to figure out how to do a plethora of different things.
However, if you have a business, these days, you’ve probably got a website. And if you’ve got a website, you want quality, targeted traffic. An ebook is one of the most powerful ways to promote your business by educating people about your product. The result? Eager visitors to your site, people who already know about your product and are interested to know more. In short, people who are already pre-disposed to buy.
And ebooks will promote any types of business.
-
Bonsai enthusiasts
-
Bridal favors
-
Building supplies
-
any other type of business (whether or not it begins with B!)
Once written, give your ebooks away free. Visit related forums and say that you have just completed a new ebook on (xyz) and are willing to give it away to anyone who signs up for your mailing list. Or place a classified ad on ebay to attract leads to your mailing list. Or use your My Space page to promote it! Now you’re not only generating traffic that’s pre-disposed to buy your product, but you’ve also got the email address of potential future buyers!.
Affiliate programs (eg Clickbank and PayDotCom) can be used to further increase your profile on the internet by leveraging the power of the internet, especially if the affiliates are allowed to rebrand some of your links with their own affiliate codes. Your affiliates will work globally to promote your ebooks. Think about this. Can you see how you could make this work for you?
That’s why ebooks are so essential. Not only do they provide a forum for people to learn and make sense of their own thoughts, but they can also serve to promote your business at the same time.
