Make sure that your eBook testimonials are as authentic as possible and include the first and last name of the person submitting the testimonial, unless they’ve asked you not to use both.  This makes the person more real to the reader and the eBook testimonial more authentic.  Try including a photo of them as well.

Before you launch your eBook, be sure to collect at least a handful of solid testimonials so you can get your eBook off to a great start!  Expect to see the difference in your ebook sales!

eBooks are gaining in popularity!  They have become a viable marketing tool and people love the fact that they are convenient, less expensive and do exactly what a print book does.

And eBooks are great for helping you to build your own personal brand as an expert.  It’s digital, but it’s still a real book – with you as the author!  This is yet another reason why you should learn about eBook writing as a useful form of marketing.

There are two distinct ways to get into eBook writing.  The first is to write your own eBooks and publish them online.  You can sell them as affiliate info products from your own website or from an affiliate network such as ClickBank.

One of the simplest ways to get into business online is to write a hot niche eBook to make for sale.  Internet marketers have made fortunes on this simple fact – people will pay you for information if it solves a desperate need for them.

First, you’ll want to find the niche to write about.  It may be that you’re an expert in some subject that others will pay good money to know, such as how to get your baby to sleep all night or how to use indicators in the Forex market.  It doesn’t matter that there are already dozens of books on the subject.  Just write it from your own perspective.

Next, write your research up in a word processor like Microsoft Word.  You may find it easier to start with your chapter headings and then flesh them out.  There are lots of places to get advice on how to do this but I like to make the first paragraph of every chapter a summary of the whole chapter – and then flesh out each individual sentence of the first paragraph into a subsequent paragraph of its own. 

Take time to set your writing out properly.  It can be simple or you can take the time to format it so that it looks neat and classy.  Just remember that it will represent your brand so do a good job putting it all together.  Above all, your work must be easy to read.  Ariel 12pt double spaced works well in most browsers (all the popular ones) and it can be read easily onscreen.

Once you’ve finished writing, you will need to publish your work in PDF format.  This used to be a lot harder than it is now.  Word 2007 has the facility to publish directly into PDF through a free plug-in available from Word.  Adobe also offers an online service for converting your Word doc to PDF.  And if you have a PDF printer on your PC like PDF Printer or Adobe Acrobat, just choose to print to PDF in your printer drop down box. 

Next you will need to have a sales page where you tell about your eBook, which ultimately has a PayPal or other type of order button.  I recommend using secure automated delivery services like SmartDD or Download Guard, which collect the payment and prevent theft.  

Don’t make selling an eBook harder than it is – just get the product up and running so you can start driving traffic to it!

Resell rights (or resale rights) are the rights to sell a product (and to pass on the right for your customers to sell it in the case of Master Resell Rights) but not to alter it in any way (although graphical changes are often allowed).  However, as time goes on, the internet market place becomes more and more flooded with the same product.  this makes it harder ot sell and, more importantly, harder to earn a profit off.  

So are resell rights products dead? Or is it possible to benefit from (Master) Resell Rights Packages these days?  Surely their day has long gone? Rubbish!

A word of caution – Before you do anything, recheck the precise rights that come along with each product.  Many resell rights eBooks and reports come with giveaway rights, or bundling rights, but you need to be sure what you can and cannot do with the product.

• Use as targeted incentives for your customers

Search your hard drive for resell rights products that are in the same, or a complementary niche to one of your products/websites and offer them as a bonus for ordering your product.  Targeted bonuses generally increase sales.

• Repackage into niche specific bundles and sell the bundle.

Most resale rights packages are topic specific.  So if you bundle your products into tight topic niches, they can be sold to targeted audiences – and the narrower the niche the better.  Sell your bundles in forums (e.g. Warrior Forum) by offering a special offer (NB, you have to have posted 30 times in the main forum before you can submit a WSO).

• Use the resell products as unannounced gifts

Tell people that they will get a secret or unannounced gift when they buy your product.  Then send one or more related products every week for a few weeks.  Your customers will love you for overdelivering!

• Give them away to help build your mailing list.

You may be able to give some of you rresell rights products away free of Giveaways, depending on the rights you have for each.  You may also be able to give them away as bonuses for signing up for your newsletter or ezine.  Remember to keep teh fereebie giveaways related to the messages you send out though or you’ll have some very confused customers!.  And remember to make the download page for your gift as the Confirmation URL in your autoresponder… or else your subscribers will get their gift without having to double opt-in!

• Use as content for Adsense Websites

Google Adsense websites rely on lots of high quality content.  Why not break down your resale rights products into small sections and adapt the information for pages on your website.

Remember to allow people to give away your e-course on their websites.  Just have them link to your website from theirs… and all those lovely backlinks will do wonders to your traffic flow!

Create your ecourse in a downloadable ebook format, and remember to include links to your website and your business ad in the ebook.  There are lots of free ebook creators on the web.   

Always allow people to give away your free ebooks.  With your links inside them they will go viral all over the web, and drive traffic too!

AUTORESPONDER
Publish your ecourse on your autoresponder. Whilst you could sign up to a free autoresponder, if you’re serious about your business, you should use the best third party autoresponder on-line.  Simply put one chapter of your ecourse in each message and schedule them to go out at regular intervals.  Remember to put links to your website in your autoresponder email signature.

Another way to generate traffic to your sites would be to allow advertisers to advertise in your ecourse.  Ask them to advertise your free ecourse on their websites (by providing a backling to your site) and generate further visitors to your website.  

These are just some of the ways you could generate traffic using a free ecourse.  You could additionally burn it to DVD and sell it on eBay, use a fax-on-demand service, make a video of your ecourse and post it to video sites etc.  Don’t forget, using as many formats as you can to generate as much traffic as you can handle!  Go for it!
