OK, I wasn’t being personal.  I was trying to get you to focus attention on your backend… sales.  It’s something that gurus bang on and on about, but still people sometimes forget about the importance of backend sales.  

In case this is new to you, the idea is quite simple. 

Once you’ve converted a site visitor to a customer, which means once someone has bought from you – you’ve accomplished a sale.  But what happens next is crucial.  Before you forget all about that customer and start attracting more new customers, remember that your existing customer could become a repeat customer – if your backend offers are big enough.  

After all, you know that the established customer already likes what you have to offer, so take advantage of that and offer them more of a good thing.  

But how, you say?

Well, why not get creative and use quality niche MRR (master resale rights) in your backend sales?  

Let’s see how that might work.

Well, depending on what you are promoting, you might find that master resale rights can play an interesting role in your backend sales.  You might have a fantastic info product that you’ve bought with MRR, one that you can offer to your customers as an additional product that they will find to be a good investment – especially since they are given resale rights with the product and can sell it to others!  In certain selling situations, this might be an exceptional opportunity for you to make more money… and for your customer to make money too (in the resales).  It’s a classic win-win situation.

Just when you’ve begun to grasp the concept of PLR (Private Label Rights), a bigger beast is presented to you – adding more confusion to the equation.  MRR or Master Resale Rights (also called Master Resell Rights) is more valuable to you as a marketing consumer and it has the potential to make you more money than simple PLR can.

With PLR, you buy the right to use the product and sell it as well.  With MRR, not only do you have the right to sell it, but you have the right to sell the resale rights to it as well, keeping 100% of the profits from those sales.

If this sounds confusing, think of it this way: You buy the MRR to an eBook called How to Be Successful.  You then create a web page that sells the eBook along with resale rights to your customer – so your buyers can turn around and sell it.  But they won’t be buying MRR themselves, so the chain can’t go any further.

• Use as targeted incentives for your customers

Search your hard drive for resell rights products that are in the same, or a complementary niche to one of your products/websites and offer them as a bonus for ordering your product.  Targeted bonuses generally increase sales.

• Repackage into niche specific bundles and sell the bundle.

Most resale rights packages are topic specific.  So if you bundle your products into tight topic niches, they can be sold to targeted audiences – and the narrower the niche the better.  Sell your bundles in forums (e.g. Warrior Forum) by offering a special offer (NB, you have to have posted 30 times in the main forum before you can submit a WSO).

• Use the resell products as unannounced gifts

Tell people that they will get a secret or unannounced gift when they buy your product.  Then send one or more related products every week for a few weeks.  Your customers will love you for overdelivering!
